Stoke City v Chelsea Tips – Blues are there for the taking
Chelsea's woes won't be eased when they visit the Britannia Stadium tonight
October 27th, 2015
Can Jose Mourinho’s men turn their season around on a cold, damp night in the Potteries? That will be the key question as the Blues look to turn around what has been an utterly miserable season for the reigning Premier League champions. It is also a question to which we’re about to find out the answer.
Chelsea have been not much better than dreadful this term with a mere three victories from their ten Premier League outings and just one from three Champions League games. They may have been relatively comfortable in the last round of this competition against League One side Walsall, however that should have been expected and Stoke City will certainly present them with a thoroughly different proposition.
Stoke themselves struggled slightly at the start of the current season, however they sit one place and a single point above Jose Mourinho’s men and with wins in all but one of their last four matches, it would look as though they have discovered some decent form of late.
As such, we’ll be backing Mark Hughes’ men to beat Chelsea at the Britannia Stadium this evening and thus pile even more pressure on Jose Mourinho, the Chelsea boss looking rather tempting on the ‘Next Premier League Manager to Leave’ betting market. As for Stoke City, 3/1 for them to win tonight is a massive price and given that Chelsea are completely out of sorts, we’ll be grabbing this price with both hands thank you very much.
