Russia v Slovakia tips – Slovaks can bounce back from Wales defeat
Russia look like poor value favourites after a dismal showing against England in their opener
June 15th, 2016
Saturday’s clash between Wales and Slovakia was pretty evenly-matched, with the latter looking more likely to win after finding a second half equaliser.
However, Aaron Ramsey and Hal Robson-Kanu combined fortunately to help the Welsh to three points and the bookies have since made the Slovaks outsiders to win Wednesday afternoon’s clash.
Indeed, Ladbrokes are as big as 13/5 about a win for the so-called underdogs of the group, although Marek Hamsik can help them to beat a Russia side whose opening performance was arguably the worst out of all twenty-four teams.
OK, so maybe England made them look ordinary as the Russians somehow stole a point from a match where they were dominated, although Leonid Slutsky saw his side offer little going forward.
Slovakia will be determined to make amends for that defeat by Wales, with the team having beaten Germany 3-1 in a pre-tournament friendly and it’s worth taking a chance on them to deliver the goods this time around.
