The Seagulls will be confident of extending their tremendous unbeaten run to some 22 Championship games when they make the journey to Loftus Road this evening to face a QPR side who have been struggling to find any consistency this season.

With players like Charlie Austin and Matt Phillips in the side, the Hoops will be somewhat disappointed to be in the bottom half of the league table at this stage of the campaign and this has resulted in the sacking of boss Chris Ramsey.

It isn’t easy to see where Rangers stand at the moment and with a few decent results, they could conceivably launch an attack on the play-off positions. Nevertheless, should Austin and Phillips decide to move on during the January transfer window, the side may find themselves in amongst the contenders for relegation. A QPR victory is priced at 7/4 with Paddy Power.

The Seagulls have been absolutely tremendous throughout this campaign so far and are fully deserving of their top spot in the Championship. They sit in pole position against all pre-season predictions and remain unbeaten in their league outings. A 2-2 stalemate against title rivals Derby County at the weekend was enough to keep Brighton at the top of the table, however they need wins to have any hope of staying there and we’ll be backing the Seagulls to seal the three points tonight at 19/10 with BetVictor.

It is nevertheless hard to choose a winner in what should be a closely fought match. Brighton have dropped quite a lot of points this term having been held to numerous draws and a trip to Loftus Road isn’t the easiest of fixtures, so another stalemate could be on the cards this evening.

The Hoops also drew against Burnley last weekend and have now managed seven points from their last three outings, although Brighton will prove to be a sterner test for the West London outfit and we predict another draw tonight at odds of 9/4 with Bet365.
