Panama v Nicaragua CONCACAF Gold Cup Preview & Tips
Panama should secure the three points when they face Nicaragua on Wednesday
July 11th, 2017
Judging on recent results, Panama will be confident of their chances of securing all three points when they lock horns with Nicaragua in the Gold Cup on Wednesday. Panama have won six of their previous seven games against Nicaragua although they haven’t been enjoying much success on the international scene of late.
Panama were impressive when securing a point from their clash with the USA courtesy of a goal from New York City star Miguel Camargo, however this draw means that just one point has been collected from each of their last four matches. Clearly improvement is needed and fast.
Just as well they are facing a Nicaragua side which have failed to register a single win in their last four matches and which have lost five of their last seven following a dismal 2-0 defeat to Martinique in their last outing. Steeven Langil and Kevin Parsemain scored the goals in that match and we envisage Nicaragua moving closer to bowing out of this competition following what looks set to be a defeat in this midweek clash.
One fancies Panama’s chances of securing all three points in this game and as such we recommend going for a Panama victory in Florida on Wednesday evening by a winning margin of two goals.
