A 6-2 hammering to Newcastle United last weekend has left the Canaries 16th in the Premier League table with just nine points from their first nine games this season. Indeed, Alex Neil’s men have triumphed on just one occasion since August when they defeated Bournemouth 3-1 in September.

The weekend defeat to Newcastle has left Norwich with the Premier League’s worst defence with twenty goals conceded, one more than Sunderland and Newcastle with the side yet to manage a single clean sheet.

Nevertheless, they have been pretty prolific in front of goal and will call on top-scorer Nathan Redmond to deliver the goods on Saturday. The England U21 international has scored twice in the Canaries’ last three games and at 9/2 with Bet365 he represents decent value to score anytime at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.

West Brom managed their first victory in three Premier League games with a 1-0 win over struggling Sunderland last weekend. This triumph lifted them to 14th, some five points above the drop zone and level with reigning champions Chelsea.

They have certainly been better away from the Hawthorns so far this season with all but one of their three wins being on the road. Indeed, the Baggies have suffered just one defeat on the road but have lost three of their five home games.

What West Brom are lacking is goals and they desperately need to add to the meagre total of seven for the entire season so far. Saido Berahino has banged in three of their goals, although Pulis’ men have failed to find the back of the net in four of their matches this season.

Struggling attack coupled with leaky defence will always make predictions somewhat difficult. With Baggies strikers struggling somewhat, Lambert and Rondon will be relishing a clash with the Premier League’s weakest defence, however the Canaries haven’t been shy on the goal front themselves and will have enough to keep visiting keeper Boaz Myhill busy for ninety minutes or so.
