Norwich City v Bournemouth Tips – Close match will see spoils shared
Level on points, these sides will settle for a point apiece at Carrow Road
September 11th, 2015
Both Norwich City and Bournemouth will have been expecting a tough season ahead and they won’t have been too disappointed so far. They sit level on four points following one draw and one win each and will see this clash as vital for their chances of staying in the top flight.
Norwich opened their campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, however they bounced back to beat Sunderland by the same scoreline and followed that with a draw against Stoke City before suffering a 3-0 thrashing by Southampton in their last outing before the international break.
Bournemouth were beaten by the narrowest of margins by Aston Villa and Liverpool in their first two matches, however they have since improved steadily, defeating West Ham in a 4-3 thriller at Upton Park and holding a strong Leicester City side to a 1-1 draw in their last match.
Indeed, the Cherries have scored nine goals in their last three outings, including four against League Two side Hartlepool in the Capital One Cup and we believe that they will have little difficulty in finding a way past a Norwich defence which have leaked nine since the start of the season in all competitions.
All in all, this looks set to be an extremely even match and we have no hesitation in predicting a low-scoring score at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.
