We should be in for a treat this weekend when two attack-minded sides clash at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. The meeting of manchester United and West Ham is the weekend’s stand-out fixture and we’re expecting a few thrills and spills.

Louis van Gaal may have been on the receiving end of much criticism regarding his side’s sterile displays, however the basic fact is that United are winning games and sit third in the Premier League, a single point behind leaders Manchester City.

Indeed, we believe that the Red Devils will extend their already impressive unbeaten run by recording a seventh successive Premier League match without defeat on Saturday afternoon and the Old Trafford crowd should be in line for some thoroughly good entertainment.

The visitors possess no shortage of attacking talent, a definite requirement for opening up what is a very stubborn Manchester United rearguard. Nevertheless, despite the Hammers looking good to get onto the scoresheet, we believe that the hosts will prove too strong for the East Londoners.

West Ham are winless in their last four Premier League outings, their last win being over London rivals Chelsea during October. This result was followed with a 2-0 defeat to Watford and a 1-1 home draw with Everton. A subsequent 4-1 loss at White Hart Lane was indicative of West Ham’s inconsistency this term and the side head into this encounter on the back of a 1-1 stalemate with West Bromwich Albion last weekend. BetVictor go 15/2 for West Ham to win on Saturday afternoon.

Will they put to an end the Red Devils’ unbeaten run in the top flight? We certainly don’t think so, however we do believe that there will be goals for both teams. West Ham have only failed to find the back of the net once this season in all competitions and although we expect the hosts to seal the points at Old Trafford, the crowd should be treated to a few goals along the way. We’re backing over 3.5 goals at odds of 5/2 with BetVictor.
