Manchester United v Sunderland Tips – More doom and gloom for Black Cats
Sunderland are having a dreadful season and it won't be improving anytime soon
September 25th, 2015
What can we say about Sunderland what hasn’t been said already? Not a lot to be honest. It is blindingly obvious that they are having a disastrous campaign so far and with just two points on the board from their opening six Premier League games, they look set to endure yet another season of struggle.
It may be too early in the campaign to write them off completely, although they won’t be receiving any respite when they make the journey to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon and we anticipate an emphatic defeat for the visitors.
The Red Devils may have been less than impressive earlier in the season, however they appear to have found their feet and head into this match on the back of two Premier League wins over Liverpool and Southampton as well as a convincing 3-0 win over Ipswich Town in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday evening.
They certainly won’t be troubled by the visit of Sunderland on Saturday and an easy three points should realistically be heading their way. That’s not to say that the travelling supporters won’t get anything to cheer, although it is unlikely to be little more than a consolation goal.
Indeed, we’ll be backing a relatively easy win for United this weekend with Sunderland getting their name onto the scoresheet. The hosts will be the visitors’ net bulge on a few occasions, therefore we have no problem backing over 4.5 goals at Old Trafford this weekend.
