Marcos Rojo, Danny Blind and Radamel Falcao look set to make their debuts on Sunday, with Louis van Gaal having splashed the cash before the transfer deadline to ensure that the Manchester United squad are dripping with talent.

Angel Di Maria will also make his home debut against QPR, with Harry Redknapp wondering what he’s done to deserve facing the Red Devils after a phenomenal amount of cash has been splurged on new players.

Perhaps United will be a bit rusty thanks to the international break along with the fact that the new recruits will take a while to bed down at Old Trafford, although the bookies are taking few chances with their 3/10 quote about a home win.

A United victory is far from a given after failing to beat Swansea, Sunderland and Burnley, although there are reasons to now believe the Red Devils can start winning and there is an even money shot which could be worth backing.

Namely that United beat Rangers without conceding when you consider that QPR have scored just once in their opening three top flight games, with Loic Remy heading to Chelsea on transfer deadline day leaving Charlie Austin to pick up the pieces in attack.

Rojo and Blind should add some defensive stability, with United sure to see plenty of the ball thanks to the presence of Di Maria and Juan Mata.

Falcao may be on the bench for the match which renders First Goalscorer quotes of 3/1 unbackable, with Wayne Rooney available at 4/1 and the England man will lead out his team for what could be described as a new dawn at Old Trafford.

As for Rangers, they were thrashed 4-0 on a recent trip to White Hart Lane and it might be a similar scoreline on Sunday, with Rio Ferdinand hoping to thwart United’s dangerous attacking line.
