Manchester City v Everton tips – 15/8 City can win in style
Sergio Aguero should be too hot for an Everton side who sit mid-table
December 5th, 2014
Manchester City are hot on the heels of league leaders Chelsea as we enter December and we’re not expecting the champions to slip up against Everton on Saturday.
A 3-0 win at Southampton was followed by a 4-1 triumph at Sunderland and there won’t be any other teams scoring a combined seven goals or more at these grounds, with Sergio Aguero proving he’s the deadliest assassin in the Premier League.
City are an 8/15 chance with William Hill to win and that looks a great price although we like the 15/8 that Manuel Pellegrini’s side and both teams score in this game.
Vincent Kompany missing in central defence allied to the fact that Everton are an attack-minded team means that we can be fairly confident this bet will cop, with the Toffees generally good for a goal on the road.
Roberto Martinez complained that his team are suffering from fatigue when drawing 1-1 with Hull City and that doesn’t bode well when it comes to being given the runaround by a City team with the bit between their teeth.
Manchester City won both matches against the Toffees last season, triumphing 3-1 at home and 3-2 on the road which lends credence to our bet, with Aguero looking a good shout to score the first goal of the campaign.
