Manchester City v Chelsea tips – goals at a premium at the Etihad
Chelsea set for hatchet job against a lively Manchester City team on Super Sunday
August 14th, 2015
It’s a virtually unmissable clash between the two best teams in the Premier League, although don’t expect the net to be bulging on too many occasions at the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City ruled The Hawthorns on Monday when scoring three times without reply, although Chelsea will be out to nullify their opponents and seize upon any opportunities to score at the other end.
Oscar is a doubt for the visitors, although that could see Cesc Fabregas promoted to an attacking midfield position, with Ramires coming in alongside Nemanja Matic as the Blues look to shut up shop against their opponents.
Indeed, Manuel Pellegrini will be wary of Chelsea’s attack despite possessing some of the best attacking players in the Premier League himself, with Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure, David Silva and Raheem Sterling among them.
Perhaps some trickery will see the home side land a victory although you can bet that Chelsea will be making life difficult and we’re happy to go for a low goal count at the Etihad Stadium.
