Luton Town v Shrewsbury Town – Hatters set to enjoy home comforts
Luton look overpriced for tonight’s League Two clash live on Sky
January 8th, 2015
Two of the better teams in League Two meet this evening for what should be an entertaining encounter, with Luton looking to leapfrog their opponents and move into the automatic promotion places.
The Hatters are making a decent fist of things as they attempt a consecutive promotion following their jump up from the Conference last term, with their home form landing them 26 of their 42 points.
Sky Bet are among those firms going 19/10 about a win for Luton and it’s a chunky price considering that just five goals have been conceded at Kenilworth Road all season, with the Hatters winning their last eight home matches before a 1-1 draw against Portsmouth.
Shrewsbury have lost 50% of their matches on the road this term and with just three wins away from home, it’s a surprise to see Micky Mellon’s team as slight favourites to claim the goods.
We do know that the Shrews will look to keep things tight when you consider that 23 goals have been scored during their 12 away matches.
Therefore, we might see a low goal tally and the Under 2.5 Goals quote is no bigger than 11/17 with Ladbrokes, although we are having a dabble on Luton on the Draw No Bet market and also a cheeky 1-0 in favour of the Hatters.
