Leicester v Aston Villa tips – Foxes to sneak victory in Midlands derby
Leicester are planning the Great Escape under Nigel Pearson
January 9th, 2015
All is not lost at Leicester City, with Nigel Pearson having survived a particularly rocky spell of defeats following that famous 5-3 win against Manchester United.
A victory at Hull followed by a draw at Anfield and a cup win over Newcastle showed there is life in the old dog yet and Pearson will hope the setbacks this season will make City stronger.
They will aim to keep things tight against a shot-shy Aston Villa side who are the division’s lowest scorers, with Christian Benteke struggling to get the sort of supply that has previously marked him out as one of the division’s top marksman.
It’s a game that could be decided by a set piece, a great piece of skill or a mistake and we’re backing the home side.
