Leicester City v Sunderland tips – Foxes set to struggle again
Nigel Pearson aiming to halt a run of four losses when Sunderland visit King Power Stadium
November 21st, 2014
Leicester City supporters were jubilant when beating Manchester United 5-3 although it’s been downhill since then and the Foxes are now 18th in the Premier League table and facing a winter of discontent.
The Midlands side’s aim was always going to be Premier League survival this term and victory on Saturday will edge them out of the drop zone, although goals have been in short supply, with City having failed to find the net in the last four games.
Despite this, the bookies make Leicester strong favourites at 11/10 to win the game although we can’t touch that price with a bargepole considering that Sunderland have collected four points in their last two matches.
A 3-1 win at Selhurst Park was followed by a 1-1 draw with Everton, with Steven Fletcher expected to be available after returning to training this week following a knock picked up on international duty.
Fletcher might prove to be the difference between the two sides on Saturday and he’s a 7/1 shot to score first although we are largely expecting a cagey encounter and the visitors will be happy to keep their unbeaten run going with another point in this game.
Therefore, we are backing the draw and also having a dabble on No Goalscorer as we suspect that a clean sheet will be the primary aim for Leicester to ensure that they are not looking at five consecutive defeats.
