Leicester City v Burnley tips – 2/1 Foxes have to be backed
Leicester can beat the struggling Clarets and stop them from scoring
October 1st, 2014
Eight points from six played represents a decent haul for Leicester who have been especially impressive at the King Power Stadium.
A 5-3 victory against Manchester United saw the Foxes come from 3-1 down to win the game, although the draws against Everton and Arsenal also involved comebacks to illustrate the character of this City side.
Leicester now have the chance to move into the top half of the table and they have to be backed in some capacity against a side that haven’t scored since the opening game of the season.
While the Midlands side have found the net nine times, the absence of Danny Ings and Sam Vokes means that the Clarets are completely shot-shy and Sunday’s 4-0 reverse at The Hawthorns ruthlessly exposed Burnley’s limitations.
Dyche has problems at both ends following that result and perhaps the defence will be a good deal tighter in that match, although one can’t ignore the 2/1 about Leicester winning this game to nil.
Jose Ulloa has every chance of returning to the scoresheet, while Jamie Vardy should also create problems for a team who had a string of clean sheets to their name before the collapse against the Baggies.
Coral go 4/5 about a Leicester win which smacks of decent value, with Ulloa worth a small bet to find the net at odds of 6/4.
