Leeds United replaced Uwe Rosler with Steve Evans early last week and all eyes will be on whether the former Rotherham boss can turn things around following a dismal start to the season.

The Scot has now been in charge for two matches, however this will be the first in front of the home fans following successive draws against Fulham and Bolton Wanderers.  Indeed, Leeds impressed at Fulham in their midweek clash but failed to find a way past the hosts at Craven Cottage. They then struggled against a ten-man Bolton side who currently sit at the foot of the table, resulting in Leeds dropping to 17th in the Championship table, just three points above the relegation zone.

Understandably, Evans will be eager to clinch his first win at the club and the Leeds players will certainly be under pressure to improve results given that the Whites haven’t recorded a single home victory since March, a total of some eleven games with just five goals scored in that time.

This is the club’s worst ever run at home and will provide hope to a visiting Blackburn Rovers side who are faring a little better than their West Yorkshire counterparts. Gary Bowyer’s men have failed to find the back of the net in their last three outings, although they matched a Burnley side on Saturday who are currently  amongst the challengers for a return to the Premier League this season.

Indeed, it could easily have been a case of three points for Blackburn at the weekend instead of none, although with just 12 points on the board from their opening 13 games, they are in real danger of getting dragged into the bottom three if they don’t start scoring soon.

They will be hopeful that Leeds’ poor home record can assist them and end their poor away record, however Blackburn’s dismal away record and the hosts’ poor home form points very much to a draw and that is what we’ll be backing tonight.
