Ipswich Town v Fulham preview and tips
Honours even at Portman Road when the Cottagers head to Suffolk
August 8th, 2014
Fulham begin their 2014/15 Championship campaign with a tricky match at Ipswich, with the Cottagers having splashed the cash to bring Ross McCormack to Craven Cottage this summer.
McCormack was the division’s top scorer last season although it seems like a big gamble on a player who has had his fair share of problems with injury.
Felix Magath has made several changes to the squad that was relegated from the Premier League last term, although it might take time for Fulham to find their rhythm in a difficult division and beating Ipswich looks like a tall order.
Mick McCarthy is a fantastic manager at Championship level and will be looking to elevate Town into the top six this term after finishing ninth last time out, with David McGoldrick making a timely return to the first team.
PREDICTION: Ipswich Town 1 Fulham 1
