Hull City v West Brom tips: Back Baggies to win at KCOM Stadium
Hull are very much in the doldrums at the moment and we don't envisage an end to their plight this weekend
November 25th, 2016
Hull City’s promotion from the Championship last season was achieved under a very dark cloud, the club reeling from a series of dramas and crises which included the departure of manager Steve Bruce who left in frustration due to lack of transfer activity.
This didn’t bode well for their return to the top flight with many pundits predicting that they would make a swift return back to the second tier at the first time of asking. These critics were duly confounded when the Tigers embarked on an excellent run which included back-to-back wins over reigning champions Leicester City, Swansea City and League Two side Exeter City, the latter in the EFL Cup.
This wasn’t to last and it could be that the critics are to be proven right after all. Since that great start the Tigers have slowly crept down the Premier League table and following their 3-0 defeat to rock-bottom Sunderland last weekend they have now fallen into the bottom three.
There may be much of the season left to play, however Hull City are now looking in serious danger. They have managed just a solitary win in their last ten outings and will struggle against a Baggies side which sit in the top half of the league table thanks to some hard-fought draws against the likes of Stoke City, Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur recently and wins over Burnley and Leicester City in their last two outings.
Indeed victory for West Brom on Saturday afternoon could conceivably lift them level on points with Manchester United depending on other results and we believe that they can make it three on the bounce by grabbing another welcome three points at the KCOM Stadium.
