Huddersfield v Sheffield Wednesday tips – Owls set for another draw
Wednesday without a win since 20 September and this Yorkshire derby will end all square
November 20th, 2014
Sheffield Wednesday enjoyed a fast start to the season although since a 1-0 victory against Reading on 20 September, the Owls have returned to their miserable old selves, losing four and drawing six of their last ten games.
A flip side of looking at things is that Wednesday have only lost one of their last five matches although there is a distinct lack of goals at the moment, with three goalless draws occurring and just one goal in the past six games.
Steve May made an appearance for Scotland on Tuesday night against England although the former St Johnstone striker has failed to find the net since that victory against Reading and this game could well end in another goalless draw.
Huddersfield make a welcome return to home soil after a couple of heavy defeats on the road, with Chris Powell looking to edge Saturday’s lunchtime encounter and they are the 5/4 favourites.
However, Wednesday are capable of keeping things tight and we’re tempted to have a bang on No Goalscorer at 11/1 with BetVictor.
