Hapoel Be’er Sheva v Southampton tips: Saints denied win tonight
The Saints will be seeking their fifth successive win tonight, however we're not optimistic about their chances

Southampton failed to impress at the start of the season with just two points gained from their opening four Premier League matches, however a 3-0 win over Sparta Prague in their opening Europa League match kick-started their season and they head into their second European match on the back of a four-game winning run.
With nine goals scored and none conceded in their last four outings, the Saints will be brimming with confidence at the moment, however despite sweeping West Ham aside at the weekend, manager Claude Puel will demand an even more improved performance when his side take to the European stage tonight.
“I think sometimes we didn’t respect our game and it was very interesting, in the second half, to see the correction from my players,” Puel told Sky Sports. “I’m happy for my players because they have been rewarded. We have to improve on the game and to correct, to progress together and this is very important to keep a good humility, every time in the training sessions.”
The Saints will now face a Hapoel side which stunned Inter Milan by winning 2-0 against the Italian giants in their opening Europa League match. The Israeli side may not be the most famous of names in Europe, however they have proven themselves more than capable of mixing it with some of the bigger names on the continent.
As such, Southampton will be in for a tough task and we believe that they will be denied a fifth successive win in all competitions tonight. The Saints don’t travel too well in Europe with just win in their previous six away matches and we expect the Israelis to manage something from this encounter. Bet365 are going 4/6 for Hapoel/Draw on the double chance market and that is something that appeals to us.
Nevertheless, given that the Saints have found the net in all-but-one of their competitive games since the start of the season, we believe that the Saints will score at some point this evening with 10bet going 19/20 for Both Teams to Score.
Looking at Saints scorers, Charlie Austin immediately springs to mind with the striker scoring a brace against Sparta Prague as well as the opener against the Hammers last weekend.
