Fulham v Charlton tips – back a low goal count in London derby
Kit Symons has revitalised Fulham and they can beat the Addicks tonight
October 24th, 2014
Fulham might be sitting 22nd in the Championship table although they are not playing like a team destined for a consecutive relegation.
The Cottagers have had a spate of managers over the past eighteen months, with Martin Jol, Rene Meulensteen and Felix Magath all failing as Fulham manager last season.
Magath struggled in the early stages of the current campaign which has led to Kit Symons taking the reins on a temporary basis although it appears that the latter has a strong chance of being given the gig on a permanent basis.
After all, Fulham have won four of their last six games and showed plenty of character to draw 3-3 at Rotherham on Tuesday night, with this young team growing up quickly under Symons who will be eyeing tonight’s match as a chance to scramble out of the drop zone.
The Cottagers have won their last three matches at the Cottage and can be backed with relative confidence at 4/5 with bet365, while it is worth noting that Fulham didn’t concede when thrashing Bolton 4-0 before landing a 1-0 victory against Norwich.
Betway go 9/4 about a home win to nil, although Charlton have to be respected and last Saturday’s reverse at Bournemouth was the first time they have experienced defeat on the road this term.
The Addicks returned to winning ways when beating Bolton 2-1 at The Valley on Tuesday and that was the first match in eight that had featured more than two goals which points to Under 2.5 Goals this evening at odds of 4/5 with Ladbrokes.
