FK Krasnodar v Everton tips – Russians set to beat Toffees
Roberto Martinez set to rotate his team for Thursday’s Europa League clash
October 1st, 2014
Everton enjoyed an excellent start to their Europa League campaign when beating Wolfsburg 4-1, although they might be on the receiving end of a defeat for their second group game.
Roberto Martinez’s game plan to get out of this group will be to win all three matches at Goodison Park and hope to nick the odd point on their travels, with the trip to Russia taking place before Sunday’s trip to Old Trafford.
Kevin Mirallas has sustained an injury and will join Ross Barkley on the sidelines, with the Toffees having collected just six points from six top flight games, although their opponents have included Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Even so, we think the 6/4 with Sky Bet about FK Krasnodar winning looks a decent bet, with the Russian side playing in a competitive league and not a team that lose too many matches on home soil.
Having drawn 1-1 away to Lille a fortnight ago, there is every reason to think they can build on this result against an Everton side who aren’t keeping many clean sheets and are still acclimatizing to life in Europe.
