Vincent Kompany might be back from injury although Yaya Toure is a big miss from a defensive point of view, especially away from home.

City were leaking goals over the festive period, with Burnley and Sunderland both grabbing a brace of goals at the Etihad Stadium and Everton can do something similar in this game.

Manuel Pellegrini doesn’t focus too hard on attaining clean sheets providing there is enough firepower to overcome opponents, with David Silva and James Milner deputising for the lack of strikers, although Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic could both start at Goodison.

All is not well at Everton right now, with Roberto Martinez considering some fresh faces this month although his team can show plenty of attacking prowess against the champions.
