Everton v Crystal Palace betting tips – Back the goals to flow tonight
Everton will be eager to return to winning ways this evening when they take on the Eagles at Goodison
December 7th, 2015
The Toffees are enjoying a decent run at the moment with six games without defeat in all competitions, although they will be looking to bounce back to winning ways following their 3-3 draw against Bournemouth in their last Premier League match, Roberto Martinez’s side squandering the lead on two separate occasions in that encounter.
Can they successfully bounce back by sealing the three points at home to Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace this evening? We believe that they can, given their excellent recent form which has seen them score ten goals in their last two outings with Sunderland being put to the sword 6-2, followed by a 4-0 thrashing of Aston Villa.
As such, we believe that the Everton goals will continue flowing tonight, although they will be in for a tough time against a Crystal Palace side which have been on decent form away from Selhurst Park this season with wins in four out of their last six matches on the road.
The Eagles successfully bounced back from a shock defeat at the hands of Sunderland with a 5-1 victory over struggling Newcastle United, therefore we’re expecting a few goals at Goodison Park tonight. The key question is, who will be left cheering at the final whistle? There is a very good case for all possible outcomes on the outright winner market with an Everton win Evens with Winner.com, a Palace win 14/5 at Bet365 and a draw 27/10 with BetVictor.
Therefore, we’ll be concentrating on other betting markets and the most obvious of these is ‘Both Teams to Score’ at odds of 4/6 with Boylesports. Both teams are finding no problems in banging in the goals of late and we feel that they will continue this on Merseyside this evening. Everton have scored fourteen times in their previous four games in the Premier League, while they have conceded six in that time. Palace have found the back of the net in seven of their last ten games and this naturally leads us onto goalscorers.
The most obvious choice to score at Goodison this evening is Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian has scored six goals for Roberto Martinez’s side in his last six appearances and he is excellent value at Evens with Paddy Power to find the back of the net at some point in a match which has all the makings of a cracking encounter.
