Chelsea have started the season with two wins from two games, although victories against Burnley and Leicester haven’t told us a great deal about the Blues this season.
A sterner test awaits when the London club head north to Goodison Park on Saturday evening and it looks unlikely that Diego Costa will be risked after pulling a muscle in training this week.
It means Didier Drogba will be fielded in attack for Chelsea, with Fernando Torres seemingly on his way out of Stamford Bridge, although Andre Schurrle can potentially play in an offensive position for the title favourites.
Even so, we were impressed by Everton against Arsenal on Saturday where Roberto Martinez’s team simply ran out of steam against the Gunners after holding a commanding 2-0 lead.
The Toffees won this fixture last season by a single goal and were unfortunate not to land a point at Stamford Bridge where John Terry scored a last-gasp winner for Chelsea.
The visitors are no value at 6/5 with bet365 to win this game although the 13/5 on offer about the Toffees with the same firm looks attractive.
However, we’re even more confident that the game can end in a low-scoring fashion given the respective strength of both defences, with Under 2.5 Goals catching the eye at odds of 4/5.
BETTING TIP: UNDER 2.5 GOALS @ 4/5 with Winner
