Everton v Aston Villa preview – Back Lukaku to get onto the scoresheet
Villa desperately need a win, however can they get it at Goodison Park on Saturday?
November 19th, 2015
It hardly needs to be said that Aston Villa are having an utterly dreadful season so far and despite managing an unlikely point against Manchester City prior to the international break, things are still looking pretty bleak at Villa Park at the moment.
The Villans sit rock bottom of the Premier League table with just five points to their name, and despite many predicting that they may have turned a corner under the guidance of new manager Remi Garde by taking a point from their match with the league leaders earlier this month, we’re not quite so confident about that.
If anything, we expect them to return to losing ways at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon against an Everton side who will be looking to Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku to breach the visitors’ defence.
Lukaku failed to shine early in the season but he is now enjoying something of a purple patch up front with goals in both of his top-flight matches before the international break and five goals in his previous six Premier League outings. We’re confident that Lukaku can score on Saturday in what looks set to be a low-scoring encounter at Goodison Park. Lukaku is 11/10 at Sky Bet to score anytime.
That naturally leads us towards the Goals Under/Over market and we’ll be grabbing ourselves Evens with Paddy Power for there to be less than 2.5 goals on Saturday afternoon, however all new customers with Paddy Power can also grab themselves a free £30 bet when they bet just £10.
