Colchester United v Tottenham Hotspur tips – U’s could be battered by Spurs second string
Tottenham set to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup by comprehensively beating Colchester
January 28th, 2016
Spurs will be pretty pleased about their FA Cup fourth round opponents after beating Leicester City in a replay.
Colchester United are rock bottom of League One after a season which has seen them lose buckets of games and concede buckets of goals.
Kevin Keen’s team were soundly beaten 3-0 at Scunthorpe last weekend and might struggle to live with a Tottenham side who won 3-1 at Crystal Palace.
Mauricio Pochettino isn’t going to field his strongest team for this clash because he doesn’t need to.
The team that featured at the King Power Stadium included Heung-Min Son and Tom Carroll, while Nacer Chadli and Kevin Wimmer will also be involved.
These players should help to press the visitors’ superiority home and we think they are worth a punt at -1 on the handicap considering that the Colchester defence are vulnerable in the extreme.
