Chelsea v Hull City tips – Blues set to cruise to victory
A Chelsea win to nil looks nailed-on against the toothless Tigers
December 11th, 2014
Steve Bruce has struggled to get a tune from his Hull team for much of the campaign and City arrive at Stamford Bridge without a win in their past eight games.
Selling Shane Long to Southampton is looking like a costly mistake, with Abel Hernandez failing to score in his last four matches and Nikica Jelavic also struggling to recreate the form of last term.
Chelsea can take full advantage, with Diego Costa, Willian and John Terry returning to the team after their midweek break for the Champions League clash against Sporting.
The Blues are watertight at Stamford Bridge, having lost their unbeaten record last weekend when losing 2-1 at Newcastle, with Jose Mourinho now looking to keep Manchester City and Co at bay during Christmas.
Only three goals have been conceded in seven Premier League games at the Bridge, while the suspended Cesc Fabregas shouldn’t be missed too greatly as Nemanja Matic returns from a one-match ban and Andre Schurrle looks to deputise.
