Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur tips – in-form Spurs set for cup victory
Tottenham have a bigger squad size than the Clarets and will make it count at Turf Moor
January 5th, 2015
It’s been a tremendous 2015 for Tottenham Hotspur so far, with the north London side beating Chelsea 5-3 on New Year’s Day and they will head to Lancashire tonight in good spirits.
Mauricio Pochettino may give some of his first-team players the night off for this FA Cup clash, although they have had a few days rest following that victory over the Premier League leaders.
Bet365 go 17/20 about a win for the visitors, with Harry Kane especially on fire for Tottenham after scoring two wonderful goals for Spurs against Chelsea.
Kane is a 9/2 chance to score first against a Burnley team who are continuing to punch above their weight in the Premier League following their promotion last term.
Sean Dyche isn’t blessed with a big squad at Turf Moor and he won’t regard the FA Cup as a priority considering that Burnley have a huge chance to stay in the top flight.
