Swansea City’s first game after the international break couldn’t be much tougher, however new boss Bob Bradley might just pull off a massive result for the club against Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.
To be honest Swansea City weren’t performing too badly prior to the perhaps harsh dismissal of Francesco Guidolin and their lowly position in the league table was more a result of a hard run of fixtures which saw them go head-to-head with Liverpool, Manchester City, Southampton, Chelsea and Leicester City in their last five outings.
Indeed they didn’t lose by more than a single goal in all of these games with the exception of Manchester City and the Swans will be confident of holding the Gunners this weekend in north London.
Arsenal are far from unbeatable, Arsene Wenger’s men lucky to seal the points against Burnley in their last outing and their previous meeting with Hull City likely to have resulted in a different outcome had the Tigers kept eleven men on the field.
Key player Alexis Sanchez has been pretty busy with Chile during the international break and he will therefore we somewhat fatigued, therefore the visiting Swans will fancy their chances of getting one over on the Gunners this weekend.
Nevertheless, Bradley’s men don’t even have to grab a single point in order for punters to enjoy some profit with the handicap line being set at a generous +1.5 in favour of the hosts. As such, backing the Swans (+2) will mean that should Swansea either win, draw or lose by a single goal, the bet would still come in, giving punters plenty of scope in a game in which the Welsh side will be looking to impress their new boss.
