Arsenal v Stoke City tips: Three easy points for Gunners this weekend
The Gunners should secure a relatively easy three points at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon
December 9th, 2016
Arsenal are enjoying a successful season so far and whilst Chelsea may be stealing all the limelight thanks to their amazing rise to the top of the table, Arsene Wenger’s men are not too far behind and will be confident of maintaining the pressure on the league leaders by securing what looks set to be a routine win against the Potters on Saturday afternoon.
The Gunners head into this weekend’s match on the back of two extremely important victories. The side successfully bounced back from a surprise EFL Cup quarter-final defeat to Southampton by hammering city rivals West Ham 5-1 and they followed this with an emphatic 4-1 win over FC Basel in their final Champions League group match, this latter result securing their place at the top of Group A as they head into the last sixteen of the competition.
Indeed, Arsenal are unbeaten in the top-flight since their opening-day 4-3 defeat at home to Liverpool and we firmly believe that they can extend this excellent run at the expense of Stoke City this weekend. The Potters may have enjoyed some recent wins over Watford and Burnley which lifted them into the top half of the Premier League table but they haven’t managed a single point in their last eight trips to the Emirates and we don’t see that poor record coming to an end on Saturday.
The Gunners will be in high spirits following their recent morale-boosting wins and we believe that they will keep the pressure on table-topping Chelsea by winning in style at the Emirates this weekend.
