Arsenal v Middlesbrough tips: Back Gunners win-to-nil at the Emirates
A relatively routine three points are on the cards at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon
October 21st, 2016
Arsenal gave their finest performance of the season so far when demolishing Ludogorets Razgrad to the tune of 6-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday evening and the north London outfit will be eager to continue this excellent recent form into Saturday afternoon’s clash with Middlesbrough.
The Gunners have now avoided defeat in their last eleven games in all competitions with wins in all-but-one of those outings and it was the fifth time this season that they have won whilst keeping a clean sheet. Indeed Arsene Wenger’s men haven’t faced many sides during that run which have been struggling for goals as much as Saturday afternoon’s opponents Middlesbrough with the north-east club managing to find the net just seven times in the Premier League since the start of the season.
The Teessiders certainly possess little in the way of attacking threat and will certainly struggle to find a way through a Gunners rearguard which have proven their solidity over the past few weeks. As such a win-to-nil for Arsenal looks as close to a banker as one could possibly get and at odds of Evens with BetVictor, we’ll be backing such an outcome on Saturday afternoon.
On the goalscorer front we have several clear options from which to choose although Mesut Ozil has managed five goals in his last five games including a hat-trick against Ludogorets in Arsenal’s last outing, therefore we’ll be backing him to find the net at some point this weekend.
