Arsenal v Galatasaray tips – Gunners set for big win against Turks
Arsene Wenger will celebrate 18 years at Arsenal with a Champions League victory
September 30th, 2014
Arsenal began the Champions League group stage with a poor 2-0 defeat in Dortmund, although they should return to winning ways on Wednesday night.
The Gunners’ season has been littered with draws this term, with Arsene Wenger’s team coming from a goal down to take a point against Tottenham last weekend, while matches against Everton, Manchester City and Leicester have also ended all square.
However, the team are shaping up nicely and should oblige at odds of 4/7 with betfair to claim victory against a team who aren’t particular good away from home in Europe.
Galatasaray were held 1-1 at home to Anderlecht in their opening Champions League game which doesn’t bode well for their chances this term, with Roberto Mancini having made way for former Italy manager Cesare Prandelli.
Prandelli can no longer call upon Didier Drogba, with Wesley Sneijder still at the club although the majority of the Gala squad are native Turks, several of whom play for the national team.
While Arsenal will be missing Aaron Ramsey for up to a month after the Welshman was ruled out, there are plenty of midfielder to make up for his absence and that includes Alexis Sanchez who has already scored some spectacular goals this term.
Sanchez is a 9/2 chance with Ladbrokes to score the first goal of this game, with Danny Welbeck looking to sharpen in front of goal and we can expect the Gunners to come flying out of the traps.
BetVictor go 29/20 about Arsenal leading at half-time and full-time in this encounter and those odds look bang-on to us.
