Arsenal v Borussia Dortmund tips – 13/8 Gunners can claim victory
Dortmund’s Bundesliga plight means that Arsenal can land victory at the Emirates
November 26th, 2014
Arsenal have been full of goals in the Champions League since losing 2-0 in Dortmund a couple of months ago, landing a 2-1 victory in Anderlecht and drawing 3-3 with the same opponents at home.
In between, there was a 4-1 thrashing of Galatasaray and the London side can take advantage of a team who are suffering domestically this term and don’t need anything from tonight’s game.
Dortmund have enjoyed a flawless campaign in Europe to date and 12 points from four games means they can afford to lose this game and still finish top by beating Anderlecht at home.
Bet365 go 13/8 about a win for the Gunners can land three Champions League points which will make sure that Arsenal are lining up in the last sixteen, with Arsene Wenger under pressure to start delivering results.
Saturday’s 2-1 defeat against Manchester United was somewhat unjust when you consider the amount of chances Wenger’s side had to score in the first half of the game, although Jack Wilshere has now joined the long list of absentees.
Even so, the visitors have injury problems of their own and Marco Reus continues to struggle with his fitness, while Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has described tonight’s game as a “holiday” as he plots to get his team higher up the Bundesliga following a rotten run of form.
